"Start Up" is now one of the most loved television series. Because besides presenting an interesting storyline, this drama also stars a number of popular names such as Suzy, Nam Joo Hyuk, Kim Seon Ho and Kang Han Na.

Unfortunately, this drama drew a lot of criticism with more and more episodes aired. This is related to the various fashion items used by Seo Dal Mi, Suzy's character. According to the viewers, the luxurious items used by Seo Dal Mi were very unrealistic with her underprivileged character.

Since the first episode, Seo Dal Mi has been told to live in a poor family. His father died as a child and since then he has lived with his grandmother. Even because of circumstances, Seo Dal Mi is willing to quit studying from a well-known university. That's why viewers ended up believing that even the characters weren't very rich.

Even in the first episode, Seo Dal Mi was seen using a marker to paint the black scratches on her worn-out heels. But in the same episode, Seo Dal Mi was seen carrying a luxurious brown shoulder bag. This is a Lanvin branded bag which is priced at US $ 1,840 or around Rp.26.1 million.

Apart from the Lanvin brand, there is another luxury shoulder bag that Seo Dal Mi used to meet her mother at the hotel, namely the Bottega Veneta bag. This bag is priced at 2,700 US dollars or around Rp.38.3 million.

Even the bag that Seo Dal Mi used when she came to a relationship party in the first episode cost much more than the two bags above. It is a Dior bag that costs up to $ 4,900 or around Rp.69.6 million.

After finding out the price of Seo Dal Mi's luxury fashion item, netizens immediately criticized the “Start Up” production team who paid little attention to detail. According to them, the drama has provided "a strange balance between the character's background and the fashion that disturbs the plot". Check out some of their comments below.

"Oh I understand. He can't buy new shoes because he went bankrupt and bought those expensive bags, huh? Come on ... Attention to detail is the key to making a good K-drama," wrote a netter. "I think it becomes more visible because the Lady Dior bag is very iconic, so it can be recognized even from a distance," added the other netters. "As soon as I saw him with that bag, I could no longer focus because everything became unrealistic," said the other netters.

"I know Suzy is a brand ambassador for Dior and so on ... But there is a time and place to put up products that are as expensive as 5,000 dollars," said another. "In general, this drama doesn't really pay attention to details. There is a scene where they make everyone use cell phones from 2020 when the setting is 2016," concluded the other netters.

Meanwhile, "Start Up" will present its newest episode on Saturday (7/11) tonight. If you are curious about the continuation of Seo Dal Mi's story, don't miss watching it.
