Bobby returned with his second solo album Lucky Man and the title song U Mad, at the end of January. After just two weeks of promotion, the agency has stopped solo activities.

On February 10, YG Entertainment spoke up regarding the matter, with Bobby asking to stop his solo promotions to focus on iKON's March comeback, as well as an appearance on Mnet Kingdom in April.
YG Entertainment stated, "After listening to Bobby's opinion, we will end all activities for Bobby's second full album 'Lucky Man', which was originally scheduled for the end of February."
Bobby himself felt he had to focus more on his group activities. He shared, "iKON's comeback album will be coming soon in March, and Mnet Kingdom starts on April 1. I think I should practice and prepare more for it."
