Recently, Baekhyun EXO took to Live Instagram to talk with fans and share some important news about his upcoming military service. Lay gave comments that successfully stole the attention of fans.
Throughout the live broadcast, Lay left various comments. The owner of the name Zhang Yi Xing expressed his care and concern.
Towards the start of the live broadcast, Baekhyun asked if the viewers could hear him. Lay replied, "(We) can hear you very well." He also commented, "Yes, Baekhyun-ah, it looks like you lost weight."
Baekhyun then shared that he would enlist in the military in April. The 1992-born singer expressed his sadness at the decision and his sudden departure.
"I'm also very sad, but it can't be helped. Should I tell (EXO-L) in early March or later? I'm really worried," Baekhyun said.
Lay immediately began sharing words of encouragement in response to the announcement. He said, "Don't be sad," and, "Cheer up, Baekhyun-ah."
The combination of the news of Baekhyun's enlistment along with his interaction with Lay has successfully made EXO-L hungry. They hope Lay can take Baekhyun to the army like the other members.
Meanwhile, SM Entertainment has not provided an official statement regarding Baekhyun's plans to enlist. Baekhyun himself is the sixth EXO member to leave for the army. Previously another EXO member, Chanyeol, was also announced to be enlisting at the end of March.
In other news, Lay recently announced that he is no longer working with Calvin Klein and Converse amid the controversy surrounding the boycott of Western brands in China. This seems to be related to the brand's statement regarding Xinjiang.
