Krystal is surprised to be offered a pregnant woman, this is the reason for agreeing to star in 'More Than Family'

Krystal, Jang Hye Jin and Kang Mal Geum underwent a photo shoot and interview with Marie Claire magazine. The three beautiful women discussed the experience of shooting a film about the family entitled "More Than Family".

"More Than Family" tells the story of a student named To Il (Krystal) who has a passionate relationship with a younger man that causes her to become pregnant outside of marriage.

When To Il reaches five months of pregnancy, she goes on a search to find her real father, whom she hasn't heard of in 15 years and the future father who left home.

Krystal said, "When I first heard that her role was a pregnant woman, I was a little surprised. But as soon as I saw the script, I ended up reading them all. It's my first time reading a script that fast."

"That's why I decided to take the role. To Il is a character that makes me feel connected. But as I continue to play the character, I realize his emotions are much more complicated than I thought," added Krystal.

Krystal then compared herself to To Il. "We are very different people," said Krystal. He went on to explain that he is not the rebellious type like his character and tends to seek advice from his family.

"I don't have much acting experience, so I'm not sure if my project has changed who I am. For me, film is a form of art created by many people working together. With a combination of writing, acting, music and art, it creates one work of art. I think being an actor is interesting because one can experience a variety of people's ways of life, "concluded Krystal.

Meanwhile, "More Than Family" was one of the films screened at the BIFF (Busan International Film Festival) this October. However, this film will only be officially released in theaters in November. Don't miss watching it.
