Ahn Bo Hyun shared that he lives in a house by renting 'Jeonse' for the first time in his life, after getting help from a financial institution.
Ahn Bo Hyun appeared on "I Live Alone" which aired Friday (6/11). In the latest episode of the MBC program, the handsome actor shows his new apartment which he has renovated with his own hands.
Back in March, Ahn Bo Hyun guested on "I Live Alone" and showed his home at the time, which he had designed and transformed personally with the help of his friends.
Ahn Bo Hyun shared that he is living in a house renting a “jeonse” for the first time in his life, after getting help from a financial institution. A jeonse lease is a type of rental arrangement in which a tenant makes a large lump sum deposit at a place (usually 50 to 80 percent of market value) instead of making monthly payments.
Homeowners make money by investing the deposit and keeping the interest and the deposit is then returned to the tenant when they move. "The interior design is a bit dated, but I completely overhauled it," said Ahn Bo Hyun.

Ahn Bo Hyun shared that his friends came from Busan to help and they spent three days on the wallpapers. He also installed all the new lighting. Ahn Bo Hyun was inspired after seeing tambourine panel boards at a cafe, so he posted them at his home.
"I designed the interior with a combination of wood and marble," added Ahn Bo Hyun. A unique colorful chandelier in the dining room took three hours to assemble. Members of "I Live Alone" were shocked several times to see how the star of the drama "Itaewon Class" worked to renovate his house.
"Because my friends help me, it doesn't cost much, because I'm the type of person who works alone," continued Ahn Bo Hyun. He will also treat his friends to food for all their hard work.
Beside the living room, Ahn Bo Hyun prepared a large dressing room filled with clothes. He used another room for storage and as a living room. This includes training equipment such as boxing gloves and bicycles.
Ahn Bo Hyun explained that a lot of people don't renovate when they're just renting rather than owning a place. "I lived there for two to three years and that time was also very precious," concluded Ahn Bo Hyun.
