Kim Hee Ae is said to be starring in the film The Moon with the theme of outer space. Previously, actors Sol Kyung Gu and D.O EXO were confirmed to star in this film.
The Moon tells the story of a man who is left alone in outer space and a man on earth who tries to save him. Sol Kyung Gu will star as the man who leads a rescue mission from earth, while D.O will star as a man who was isolated in space after an unexpected incident.
Kim Hee Ae was confirmed to be starring in The Moon with the two actors. He will star as Moon Young Eun, who is the leader of the NASA space station and holds the key to saving a man who was isolated in space.
This of course makes fans really look forward to the synergy that will be provided by the combination of Sol Kyung Gu, D.O EXO, and Kim Hee Ae. Moreover, the three of them are known as capable actors.
The Moon will be produced by director Kim Yong Hwa who was previously successful through the film Along with the Gods. If nothing changes, filming will start in early 2021.
This will be Kim Hee Ae's first film in 2 years. He last starred in a film in 2019 through Moonlit Winter.
