In the caption, this mini album will contain a total of five tracks, including a duet song with Park Jin Young entitled 'Switch to me' which was released in December 2020. A teaser photo for his comeback has also been released, featuring the words' Why Don't We. '.

The first word in the title "PIECES by RAIN" is described as a "cut" of the artwork as well as a different "cut" of the five songs that make up artist Rain. Each song will feature a different tempo and character, with the concept that they form a full version of Rain as artists when they are all put together on one album.

Rain has finished filming the music video for the title song "PIECES by RAIN". In addition, it was recently reported that Rain and Chungha are in talks for collaboration.

This will be Rain's first album since his mini album in December 2017, “MY LIFE 愛”, featuring the title track “GANG“. Last year, Rain also promoted with the group SSAK3 with Lee Hyori and Yoo Jae Suk, which was formed through the variety show “How Do You Play?”./dreamers.id
