"I trained when I was 11 years old. I trained for 7 years and my debut album when I was 18 with a girl band (Girls' Generation). My dream was never to be a singer. As a trainee, when I took vocal lessons, most of the songs I listened to and I'm studying is R&B, "he said.
Jessica then cited several artists as her biggest inspiration. "Artists like Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston. I feel, 'Wow, I want to sing a song like that.' It really inspired me to become a singer, "he said.
Meanwhile, Jessica recently launched her own restaurant on the second floor of Blanc & Eclare's flagship store in Chungdam-dong, Seoul. Named Clareau, this restaurant can be accessed through the main lobby of its clothing store.
