Good news for MAMAMOO girl group fans. Because one of its members, Whee In, has just been confirmed to be making a solo comeback next month. This was revealed by RBW Entertainment as the agency that sheltered him.
Yesterday, Friday (26/3), Xportsnews reported that Whee In is preparing a new solo album in April. As soon as the report was released, MAMAMOO's agency confirmed. According to the agency, Wheein's solo comeback is targeted to occur in April, however, they have yet to set an exact date.
“He is currently preparing for a solo comeback with a target of release in April. We will release more details about the album after everything is finished, ”said the agency representative.
This is Whee In's first solo release since the single album "Soar" in September 2019. He has also been active as a solo singer in drama OSTs. MAMAMOO's last comeback was in October 2020 with the mini album "Travel".
Whee In debuted as a solo artist with his digital single "Easy". Following Solar's solo debut with the single, "Spit It Out," on April 23, 2020, MAMAMOO became the second Korean group to have each member own a solo chart on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart.
In October 2020, MAMAMOO announced their tenth album, “Travel”. "Dingga" the first single, was released before the album on October 20th.
