On yesterday, Tuesday (25/5), BTS released a dance practice video for "Butter," which they delivered for the first time on television at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards last weekend. The new clip offers a full preview of the seven members' moves, including the iconic "ARMY" lineup.
Fans can see all the dynamic choreography for the song as well as the fun they offer in the MV. Even though they only appeared in the rehearsal studio room, fans were very enthusiastic about the release of the video.
Hopefully “Butter” itself is expected to immediately attract listeners with its charming intro base-line and refreshing synth sound. BTS has decided to hook up a global team of music producers and composers once again in the production of this song.
"Butter" gave his songwriting credits to Rob Grimaldi, Stephen Kirk, Ron Perry, Jenna Andrews, Alex Bilowitz, Sebastian Garcia, and BTS leader himself, RM (Rap Monster). Reflecting its title, the song projects a subtle yet prominent sound, revealing another layer of BTS's artistic and musical talent.
Regarding the music video for “Butter,” Big Hit Music has stated, “The highlight of this elevator concept music video is the different choreography performed by each BTS member, in their respective frames and underneath the luxurious stage spotlight”.
Not only that, YouTube has finally confirmed the number of viewers BTS gets in 24 hours for the “Butter” MV. BTS's "Butter" music video received approximately 108.2 million views in the first 24 hours after the release of the music video.
