Jeongyeon made a surprising confession about their new song 'Alcohol-Free' when appearing as a guest on the SBS PowerFM radio program recently.
TWICE guested on SBS PowerFM radio program "Choi Hwa Jeong's Power Time" on June 14. Jeongyeon made a surprising confession about their new song "Alcohol-Free".
For this radio program, not all TWICE members were present as guest stars. Besides Jeongyeon, the members who came were Jihyo, Dahyun and Mina Myoui. During the episode, they shared behind the scenes production of "Alcohol-Free".
Jihyo shared, "When the song was first revealed, the label rep didn't think it would suit TWICE. But most of the members really liked the song."
Jeongyeon then added, "I'm the only one who doesn't really like the song. This one is my least favorite song for a comeback out of all of our comebacks. The title contains alcohol, and I don't think it reminds me of TWICE."
Apparently many netizens agree with Jeongyeon. There are also those who don't really like the title track from their comeback album "Taste of Love".
"The song is good and easy to listen to, but it doesn't seem to have any impact," commented netizens. "The song is not very good, but it looks like TWICE sings it well," added another netizen. "I heard there are singers who cry because they don't like the song," wrote netizens.
"The first time I listened to it, I had the same impression as Jeongyeon, but the more I listened to it, the better, and now I really like it," said another. "I agree with Jeongyeon. This is not a bad song but because I expect a summer song like 'Dance the Night Away'," concluded another.
Meanwhile, TWICE has performed "Alcohol-Free" for the first time on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show". This girl group from JYP Entertainment made their first appearance on a popular American talk show. They took the virtual stage for the premiere of their new song. (wk/chus)
