Jung Ho Yeon opened up about the support he got from BLACKPINK's Jennie in the midst of his success in playing 'Squid Game'. Jung Ho Yeon claims to be grateful to have a friend like Jennie.

The success of the Netflix drama "Squid Game" has become a hot topic for fans from all over the world. The popularity of "Squid Game" has even affected the daily lives of its actors whose pasts are increasingly being explored, including Jung Ho Yeon.

Through his cunning role as Kang Sae Byeok in "Squid Game", Jung Ho Yeon is increasingly making the public curious about his career path. Unexpectedly, the fact is that Jung Ho Yeon was good friends with BLACKPINK's Jennie (Black Pink) long before "Squid Game" aired.

The friendship was revealed after Jung Ho Yeon shared his portrait with Jennie through his social media. Jennie is also known to have sent a coffee truck as her support to Jung Ho Yeon on the set of "Squid Game".

Through an interview with Herald POP, Jung Ho Yeon also talked about the support given by Jennie in the midst of her success in playing "Squid Game". He also shared some interesting confessions about his friendship with Jennie.

Jung Ho Yeon said that Jennie was very happy and proud of him after being offered a role to play in "Squid Game". Lee Dong Hwi's lover confirmed that Jennie had sent a coffee truck for him.

Jung Ho Yeon also confirmed that his friend often came to the set to just provide support. Even Jennie openly showed her support for Jung Ho Yeon through her social media.

"Jennie was happy for me since I told her that I was in 'Squid Game'," said Jung Ho Yeon. "He sent me a coffee truck, and he actively encouraged me even by posting it on his social media."

Jung Ho Yeon also admitted that he was very grateful to have a friend like Jennie who always supported him in the middle of the "Squid Game" filming process. He didn't even think that Jennie was so kind to him.

"Jennie is always on the list of people I'm grateful for while acting in 'Squid Game'," concluded Jung Ho Yeon. "He congratulated me so happily, as if my joy was his too, that I wondered how such an angel could exist."
