Jennie did not wear a mask outside the airport when local media took photos of her. But inside the airport, the singer of "Kill This Love" was seen wearing a mask. Reportedly, Jennie was forced to not wear a mask because she was bound by a glasses sponsorship contract.
In the photos and videos taken by fans, Jisoo told Jennie to wear a mask when they were inside the airport. The oldest BLACKPINK member also corrected the position of Jennie's mask which she felt was not quite right.
Seeing Jisoo's care and attention for Jennie, fans were moved. They also highlighted how journalists "intentionally" published photos of Jennie when she didn't wear a mask to be criticized.
