Regarding the news, representatives from the agency finally gave a statement. "It's true that we are preparing to debut a new girl group," said the source as quoted by Soompi, Tuesday (18/5/2021).
Unfortunately, these sources were reluctant to reveal more details about the plans for the debut of the new group. The statement is actually the same as what they released last year.
However, this new group will be the first girl group YG Entertainment has debuted in the past 5 years. BLACKPINK debuted in 2016 and is now transforming into one of the biggest girl groups in the K-Pop music industry. * /celebrity.okezone.com
