Girls' Generation's Sooyoung laughed after receiving useless advice from fellow member Tae Yeon about her hometown. At that time, Sooyoung asked about the hometown of the "Four Seasons" singer.
On Monday (7/6), Sooyoung updated her YouTube channel by uploading a new video. The video shows Sooyoung in a car on her way to Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do to attend a film festival.
When Sooyoung gets near Jeonju, she calls Tae Yeon to ask if there's a good local restaurant she knows of. Tae Yeon was born in Jeonju, and lived there until he moved to Seoul to start training at SM Entertainment in 2004.
To Sooyoung's question, Tae Yeon laughingly replied, "I knew you would ask me that. But the only place I went to in Jeonju was my house. So, I didn't really know."
Then, Sooyoung asked, "Then do you know a good local coffee shop? You should know at least one." Tae Yeon replied, "To be honest I don't know any coffee shops either. Oh, I know. This is a bean sprout soup restaurant."
Sooyoung frowned and commented, "Is that Hyundaeok? I've been there before. It's a place that everyone goes to." Tae Yeon said, "Oh, you know that place? Okay, what else is there. Just try the street food near Hanok Village. It's really good."
As soon as Sooyoung heard this, she burst out laughing and said, "I called you because I wanted to know good local places to visit. Not tourist spots you can find on YouTube."
