'Doom At Your Service' has just released a behind-the-scenes interview video with Lee Hyun Kyu's character cast. Playing the cafe owner, Kang Tae Oh reminisced about his past before becoming an actor.
Recently, tvN uploaded a behind-the-scenes interview video of "Doom At Your Service" with Kang Tae Oh. The actor plays the character of Lee Hyun Kyu, a cafe owner and housemate of Cha Joo Ik (Lee Soo Hyuk).
In the drama, Lee Hyun Kyu is portrayed as a man who likes to run away from reality. He decides Na Ji Na (Shin Do Hyun) as soon as he graduates from high school and just disappears. Therefore, Na Ji Na still has scars and continues to write based on her first love.
After so many years, Lee Hyun Kyu finally meets Na Ji Na again. After learning that Cha Joo Ik knows Na Ji Na, he invites her to date him again.
In the behind-the-scenes video, Kang Tae Oh shared that he had worked part-time at a cafe when he was 20 years old. "I know how to brew coffee, I can do it well. I think this is the first time I've brewed coffee in seven years," he said while practicing Lee Hyun Kyu's work.
When talking about Lee Hyun Kyu, Kang Tae Oh mentioned that his character doesn't have a clear picture of the future so he set up a cafe. Kang Tae Oh said, "People around me say that I look like a cafe owner who has a lot of free time, but I'm busy working in a place where no one can see."
When asked about the reason why Lee Hyun Kyu accepted Tak Sun Kyung (SF9's Dawon) to work at his cafe, Kang Tae Oh mentioned that his character couldn't resist the suitor's gaze. Like so close, he intends to ensure a balance of life for Tak Sung Kyung. Kang Tae Oh said, "I have to give him a raise."
Meanwhile, "Doom At Your Service" can be watched every Monday and Tuesday at 21:00 local time. Carrying the romantic fantasy genre, this drama tells the story of the relationship between Tak Dong Kyung (Park Bo Young) and Myul Mang (Seo In Guk) who can destroy everything through touch. (wk/inta)
