One of the BTS members who has contracted COVID-19, Suga is reported to have been 'free' from the virus.
On January 3, 2022, BTS's agency, BigHit Music, released an updated statement regarding Suga's health condition and the idol's next steps.
The statement was released by BigHit Music through their official platform on Weverse,
“Hello, this is BIGHIT Music.
We would like to inform you that BTS member Suga has fully recovered from COVID-19 and his quarantine has ended today at noon, January 3.
SUGA, who has been undergoing treatment from home for the past ten days since Friday, December 24, is now able to return to his daily activities.
SUGA did not show any specific symptoms during quarantine and is currently recovering while resting at home.
We would like to thank all the fans who have shown concern for the artist's health as well as those in the medical field who are doing their best to contain COVID-19.
We will continue to put the health of the artists as our top priority, and vigilantly follow health care guidelines.
