Stray Kids Confirmed to Prepare Comeback, Hyunjin Will Participate?

Good news for Stray Kids fans. The reason is, the group that successfully won the competition event made by Mnet, "Kingdom: Legendary War" has just been reported to be making a comeback soon. Not only that, JYP Entertainment as the agency that oversees them also confirmed.

According to media outlets, K-Pop idol group Stray Kids is gearing up for a comeback with a digital single to be released sometime in late June. JYP Entertainment confirmed it to Sports Kyunghyang, saying that the exact schedule will be confirmed soon.

"We are preparing for the release and we will let you know the exact date once everything is confirmed," the agency said. Regarding member Hyunjin joining for this comeback, JYP stated, "After things have been confirmed, we will arrange everything and let you know."

About three months ago, Hyunjin was involved in a controversy because he was accused of being a school bully, and then went on hiatus from group activities. Now JYP Entertainment is being held up by fans, who want to know how Hyunjin is doing.

The controversy over Hyunjin quickly escalated as it arose at a time when many celebrities were accused of being bullies when they were at school. Immediately, JYP Entertainment made a statement regarding the scandal, while Hyunjin did not appear in any group activities since.

Aside from Stray Kids' song “Wolfgang” from the show “Kingdom,” this will be their first comeback in about nine months. On the other hand, Stray Kids is known to have received a special gift from Mnet after winning the competition on "Kingdom". Interestingly, the prize will be free "promotional content" for their next comeback.

This was conveyed by PD Lee Young Joo who led this production. Although reluctant to go into details, PD Lee Young Joo confirmed that Mnet would provide Stary Kids special content for a whole week.

With these advantages, Stray Kids' promotions in the next comeback will be more secure. Because they will have their own show as well as introduce their new music more often.

Meanwhile, Stray Kids won "Kingdom" with the title "K-Pop King". They took first place with a total of 38373,040 points. The second position is occupied by The Boyz (23963,497 points), followed by ATEEZ (21298,106 points), BTOB (20277.121 points), iKON (13875,888) and SF9 (12712,348). (wk/putr)
